Two crafts, one love.
Custom Catio started the way most good ideas do. A question nobody had a good answer for. Morgan, a licensed architect, and Sam, a certified general contractor, both lifelong cat people, kept getting asked by friends and neighbors: “Could you build me something safe for my cat to go outside?” The kits and pre-made catios they saw online looked cheap and felt wrong in people’s yards. So they started building each one from scratch, designed like a real home and built like a real home.
Today every Custom Catio project is still designed and built by the two founders plus a small crew. No sales reps, no upsells, no outsourced builds.
Licensed architect
Every catio is designed from scratch by a licensed architect. Structure, flow, and how it reads from inside the house, all worked out on paper before we break ground.
Certified GC build
Constructed by a certified general contractor. Real framing, proper foundations, finishes that hold up through Colorado seasons.
